Emerald Lake State Park
A 20-acre lake with emerald green waters surrounded by forest. Features a small beach area, campground, hiking trails, and rental boats for exploring the picturesque lake.
Oakledge Park
A lakefront park with two small beaches (Blanchard and Texaco), athletic fields, and the starting point of the Island Line Trail. Features Vermont’s first universally accessible treehouse.
Elmore State Park
A small beach on Lake Elmore with mountain views including Elmore Mountain. Features a campground, hiking trails to a fire tower, and boat rentals for exploring the scenic lake.
Boulder Beach (Groton State Forest)
A sandy beach on Lake Groton within the extensive Groton State Forest. Features a beach house with changing facilities, hiking trails, and connections to other recreational areas in the forest.
Leddy Park Beach
A multi-use park with a sandy beach on Lake Champlain. Features tennis courts, sports fields, and an indoor arena alongside the beach area. Offers beautiful sunset views over the Adirondack Mountains.
