About This Beach
Padre Balli Park is a 400-acre beach park on North Padre Island featuring the iconic Bob Hall Pier (currently being rebuilt after Hurricane damage). The park offers 95 RV sites with water and electrical hookups, creating a popular beach camping destination. The beach allows vehicle access with a permit, providing convenience for families with equipment. The area is known for good surfing conditions, particularly near the pier. The park serves as an excellent base for exploring North Padre Island while providing more amenities than the nearby National Seashore. Weekend events during summer months include beach volleyball tournaments and sandcastle building competitions.
