About This Beach

Long Beach boasts 28 miles of continuous sandy shoreline, earning it the title of the “World’s Longest Beach.” This expansive beach is one of the few in Washington where cars are permitted to drive on certain sections. The area is famous for its annual Washington State International Kite Festival and excellent razor clam digging. The beach is part of the Long Beach Peninsula, which offers a boardwalk, hiking trails, and the Discovery Trail – an 8.5-mile paved pathway perfect for cycling and walking.
