East Beach (Housatonic)
A beach within Long Beach Wildlife Area with pristine, undeveloped shoreline. Offers excellent opportunities for wildlife observation and fishing adjacent to the Great Meadows Marsh unit of the wildlife refuge.
Calf Pasture Beach
A large municipal beach with extensive facilities including a fishing pier, playground, volleyball courts, and sailing center. Hosts summer concerts and events with views of offshore islands.
Walnut Beach
A revitalized beach area featuring a growing arts district with galleries and studios nearby. Connected to Silver Sands State Park via boardwalk with restaurants and ice cream shop adjacent to the beach.
Clinton Town Beach
A sandy town beach with a boardwalk, pavilion, and recreational facilities. Features a playground, picnic areas, and seasonal lifeguards in a charming coastal town setting.
Jones Beach State Park
Iconic 6.5-mile beach with boardwalk, two swimming pools, and an outdoor amphitheater. One of New York’s most popular beaches with excellent facilities including restaurants, concessions, and playgrounds.
Cooper’s Beach
Consistently ranked among America’s top beaches with pristine white sand and magnificent views of the historic mansions along Meadow Lane. Features concessions, chair/umbrella rentals, and bathhouses.
